Villa Colina, El Rosario: Villa with Ocean View for Sale

Villa Colina has been completed, is fully furnished, and is ready to move into. The design is by González & Jacobson, and the interior is by Ambience Home. The villa is located at the end of a quiet street in El Rosario, East Marbella, on a 1,175 m² lot that slopes down in landscaped terraces. Below the house lies a green, largely undeveloped valley, with the golf courses and the sea beyond.

We visited the villa at sunset. The house faces southwest, and from the infinity pool and the large terraces, you can watch the sun set over the coastline.

Layout

You enter on the top floor through a gate with wooden slats beneath a sleek white awning. The garage on this level has a glass back wall, so the view begins even before you step inside. From the entry hall, a staircase with a glass balustrade leads to the living area. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are situated there behind floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a covered terrace next to the pool. On the same floor are a guest restroom, a fitness room, and a home theater, separate from the main living area.

The four bedrooms are located on their own floor. Each room has its own bathroom and sliding windows that open to the outside. The master bedroom features a custom-built, lighted walk-in closet by Uecko.

The living area is 580 m², plus a 273 m² terrace. There is also a private pool, a garden, a laundry room, and two parking spaces.

Interior and Finishes

Ambience Home opted for a warm interior rather than cool minimalism. In the living areas, you’ll find cream-colored upholstery, custom woodwork, and textured wallpaper set against light-colored natural stone floors. The bedrooms feature herringbone parquet flooring, and the lighting is largely concealed in the ceiling. There’s also a bar for entertaining guests.

The kitchen is by Modulnova, featuring a stone kitchen island, open shelving, and Gaggenau appliances. A long panoramic window next to the dining table frames the view of the sea. The bathrooms are clad in veined marble and feature walk-in showers, Villeroy & Boch fixtures, and black Gessi faucets. One bathroom features a freestanding tub. Natural stone from Tino is used throughout the house, and the windows and sliding doors are by Schüco.

Anyone who wants to live here year-round will find water-based radiant floor heating on all three floors and a home automation system to control the home’s key functions.

Location

El Rosario is a quiet residential neighborhood with single-family homes and mature gardens, located slightly inland between Marbella and Elviria. The beach is about 2 km away. The beach clubs of Las Chapas and Elviria, such as La Plage Casanis and Nosso, are nearby, as are Santa Clara Golf and the Marbella Golf Country Club. Families who settle here have the English International College and the Deutsche Schule Málaga within easy reach.

Take the A-7 to quickly reach Marbella and continue on to Málaga Airport. Because of its high elevation, a car is essential. On the other hand, it’s much quieter here than along the coast.
